Inventory Control Workshop Series Beginning September 2009.
We are pleased to announce a new Inventory Control Workshop Series that Gloria McCune, CPIM, will be instructing at the University of Akron’s Wayne Campus beginning September 2009. By focusing on the basics, companies can achieve a high level of inventory accuracy by adopting some simple methods detailed in these inventory workshops.
These five workshops will include: Basics of Inventory Management, Cycle Counting, Distribution Inventory, MRP/BOM and Physical Inventory.
Information is presented in an easy to understand format with real world examples and studies. The course is particularly valuable for people who work with inventory on a daily basis and are ready for the next level of improvement and responsibility. To use inventory efficiently and profitably, you need a good understanding of what inventory is and what works in managing it well.
